Explore our selection of network cable types
At DCS ApS, we have network cables for every need, whether it’s demanding datacenter environments, professional installations or standard office setups. Our cables are available in the following types: CAT 6A S/FTP, CAT 6 S/FTP, CAT 6 U/UTP, CAT 7 S/FTP and CAT 8.1 S/FTP. You will also find extension solutions for USB, RJ45-based systems, Coaxial cables and many other practical options.
CAT 6A S/FTP cables
CAT 6A S/FTP is an ideal cable for pro-installations requiring extra protection over long distances. The cable supports up to 10 Gbit/s over 100 meters and is built with both braided shielding and foil shielding, which reduces noise from the surrounding environment and protects against signal issues.
CAT 6 S/FTP cables
CAT 6 S/FTP is similar to CAT 6A S/FTP with both braided and foil shielding, but slightly less robust. It supports between 1–10 Gbit/s depending on cable quality and installation, typically functioning best at distances between 55–100 meters. It is a more affordable option well suited for shorter distances, such as office environments.
CAT 6 U/UTP cables
CAT 6 U/UTP is a budget-friendly cable with no shielding against electronic noise. It is typically used in home installations or environments with low interference. A typical home office setup contains only a few devices that generate electrical noise, making it a relatively “clean” environment.
CAT 7 S/FTP
A CAT 7 S/FTP cable offers high noise immunity thanks to strong shielding with braided protection and foil around each twisted pair. This type is used in datacenters and industrial environments where data must travel long distances under conditions requiring strong resistance to electromagnetic noise. It supports up to 10 Gbit/s at 100 meters.
CAT 8.1 S/FTP
CAT 8.1 S/FTP offers the highest protection on the market and effectively eliminates electronic noise. The strong shielding comes with a limitation in distance, making it ideal for server rooms with high-performance requirements. The cable supports up to 40 Gbit/s over distances up to 30 meters.

Find RJ45, USB, Micro-USB and other common connector types that all make use of the cable standards and shielding technologies described above. Whether you need strong noise protection, long-distance solutions or standard flexible cabling, you will find the right option for your assortment here.
Coaxial cables (COAX)
Coaxial cables – often called Coax – are designed to transmit radio frequency and data signals with high stability and low signal loss. The cable consists of a solid copper conductor, insulating layers and a braided or foil shield, all enclosed in an outer jacket to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Cable adapters
At DCS ApS, you will find a selection of cable adapters that allow you to connect equipment with different connector types without replacing existing devices. These include USB to HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, Ethernet, audio, charging and many other formats.
Cable adapters are an important addition to any assortment where compatibility and connection options matter.
USB extenders with RJ45
USB extenders with RJ45 make it possible to transmit USB signals over longer distances than a standard USB cable allows. By sending the USB signal through an Ethernet cable (Cat5e/Cat6), you achieve stable transmission across longer cable runs, making the technology ideal for meeting rooms, AV installations, rack setups and touchscreens.
This solution offers flexible installation where the equipment and PC are not placed close to each other, and where traditional USB cables are not long enough.
